Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Basic understanding of Shopify's platform and its basic functionalities.
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or modify existing ones to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs into WordPress templates.
  • Optimize website performance through caching, asset minification, and other techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, including compatibility, performance, and security.
  • Assist with basic tasks related to Shopify, such as setting up products, collections, and pages, as well as making minor customizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and Shopify development.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
